Operation Easter

Operation Easter is a joint venture to protect the White-tailed Sea-eagles on the Isle of Mull. Sea eagles are fully protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. It is illegal to shoot, poison or otherwise kill sea eagles, to disturb them at the nest or to take eggs or young. Both Police and Mull residents take part each year to protect the eagles from egg collectors and general disturbance. This year there are even more volunteers and CCTV has been added as a further measure. CCTV Poster
