Just a quick note if you have a satellite navigation system in your vehicle. Wild Cottage has a postcode [PA64 6AP] but no street name or house number. The whole village of Lochdon has the same postcode. Most internet-based maps [by postcode] show PA64 6AP as part way down the road to Gorten, and this is approximately half a mile from Wild Cottage! If your satellite navigation system can take an Ordnance Survey Grid Reference then please enter NM 727 330 for Wild Cottage. This should get you right to our front drive.

Directions to Wild Cottage

As you leave the Oban ferry in Craignure, turn left (signposted A849 to Fionnphort) and continue for three miles to the village of Lochdon.

In Lochdon turn left at the signpost for Grasspoint, then keep left at the second Grasspoint signpost (see photo one, below) and turn left again immediately after the telephone exchange (see photo two, below). Wild Cottage is now in front of you along a short driveway. See map and photo three below.

If arriving on the Lochaline - Fishnish ferry; drive off the ferry and along the approach road. At the 'T' junction turn left on to the A849 (signposted to Craignure) and then through Craignure to Lochdon. Directions as above in Lochdon.
